YOURS TO DECIDE - 'Making Space For Honest Conversations About Funerals'
Come join us for a unique event where we'll be discussing a topic that's often avoided - funerals.
Talking about death is never easy, and because of that we often put off having difficult conversations about funerals with those we care about most. This workshop will offer a safe and supportive space to have honest conversations about the various choices available when planning a funeral. We'll also challenge some common myths and leave time for you to ask any questions you may have.
During the workshop we will be considering some of the following:
- How do I choose a funeral director?
- Who can lead a funeral?
- What is a direct cremation?
- How can I personalise a funeral?
I'm so pleased that Lelley Fields Crematorium is opening its doors to host this workshop, a real sign of their commitment to helping to facilitate transparency within the funeral industry, and to encouraging these important conversations.
