Youth Action: Heathland Conservation
Come join us at Ludshott Common for a day of hands-on conservation work! This event is perfect for young nature enthusiasts looking to make a difference in their local environment.
We'll be working together to protect and preserve the unique heathland habitat at Ludshott Common. Get your hands dirty buy helping us with tree 'popping' and scrub clearance to maintain an open heath which is home to a wide variety of reptiles, ground nesting birds and cool invertibrates.
Meet at the main National Trust Car Park:
Headley Road, Nr Headley Down, Hampshire, GU26 6JJ
What to bring:
- water, snacks and a packed lunch
- sun hat and suncream and or jumper, waterproof clothing
- sturdy outdoor footwear
We'll provide the tools and gloves!
