About this Event
Youth for Climate Adaptation
Climate change is one of humanity’s biggest problems at this time, affecting millions of people around the globe and the environment itself. Youth organizing strikes around the world shows the importance of giving them a voice and listening to how they bring up solutions for change.
During the Youth for Climate Adaptation Conference on the 22nd of January 2021 in Groningen, youth from all around the globe come together (online) and work on their contributions for the Climate Adaptation Summit. This world summit will take place on the 25th of January 2021. During the event, world leaders will come together to discuss climate adaptation and make agreements which will be turn to action. Youth will also be given the opportunity to express a text or call to action, which can be adopted by the summit as a joint declaration.

From practical knowledge to current studies, talk to authors of the IPCC or participate in the Adaptation Challenge by taking action in your area! We are going to share this knowledge worldwide, many areas - particularly in the “Global South” - suffer a lot from the consequences of climate change. Are you going on a trip from home?
