The official launch of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s first Youth Impact Board (YIB) – a new, youth-led initiative bringing together young people, professionals and partners to improve services for children, young people and carers across the county.
The Youth Impact Board is made up of 16–24 year olds who are passionate about making a difference. Working alongside NHS colleagues, they will:
- Shape and improve services for children and young people, including CAMHS.
- Champion the voices of young people, ensuring their experiences and needs are heard at every level.
- Challenge barriers that prevent young people from receiving the highest quality care.
The launch event will bring together young people, partner organisations, local charities and stakeholders to celebrate the start of this exciting journey. The evening will begin with a short film created by the Youth Impact Board, introducing their vision and energy, followed by a welcome from Becky Sutton, Chief Operating Officer and a chance to network and watch performances from young people.
The Youth Impact Board would like to welcome young people (16-24), NHS colleagues, stakeholders and partners with a genuine interest in improving young people services and empowering young people in having their say. By booking a ticket you understand that the event will be attended by members of the public aged 16-24 who are interested in finding out more about joining the youth impact board and others in youth focused role across Nottinghamshire.
