You will hear from leading experts from across the globe on how they have developed tools to confront discrimination in order to represent children better.
We want your ideas – please come and take part for some or all of the day.
The Youth Justice Legal Centre Summit will be an interactive, live virtual event.
The day will bring experts from various jurisdictions together with practitioners to learn about bias and discrimination and to share ideas on how to overcome it.
Across five stand alone sessions, the Summit will look at five areas where children in the criminal justice system can experience discrimination. The themes of these are Girls, Race, Class, Kids (age), and Fear.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to invite all delegates to attend the Summit free of charge, and you are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like.

This year’s Summit will be another opportunity to bring together all those who work so tirelessly in this undervalued sector. We hope to share knowledge, circulate innovation, and develop practice by identifying the bias, discrimination and fear children experience within the criminal justice system – and that our Summit will be one step towards to defeating it.
