Event description

Description

This interactive and practical workshop is aimed specifically at youth organisations. It will cover several aspects of monitoring and evaluation, and ensure you have clearly identified outcomes with the know-how to relate them to the requirements of funders.

The session is delivered by CVS Brent's Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Salli Ward with the support of Sandra White from Young Brent Foundation

By the end of this training you will:

  • Have a set of outcomes for your own organisation or project;
  • Have strong ideas about the principles and practice of evaluating your services;
  • Know how your outcomes relate to Brent Council priorities and how to express this in funding applications;
  • Know how your outcomes address the requirements of other popular funding bodies, e.g. National Lottery;
  • Understand what Impact is and have ideas about how to measure it;
  • Understand and be able to apply the principles behind monitoring, evaluation and outcomes measurement;
  • Have an introductory knowledge of quality standards systems and marks;
  • Have concrete ideas about next steps in monitoring and evaluation for your organisation.

Who should attend:
