Join practitioners and participation experts to discover what we learnt through researching the experiences of young people, in school and in the community, when given control over a participatory budget.

At this 2 hour interactive workshop we will be launching the detailed Youth PB Accelerator Toolkit and DIY manual, which offers in-depth practical guidance and tips for how to run your own successful school or community participatory budgeting process.

Based on detailed research and engagement across Europe and the USA on the use of this empowering technique, you will be able to take away the most comprehensive and up to date guide on how to start, run and evaluate your youth participation and learning PB process.

There will be other related events happening, focussed on Northern Ireland on the 23rd March 2022, and in Spain and Poland, run by our partners in those regions and countries.

This two year research project consists of five partners. It is lead by the Polish foundation Soclab, with collaborators Field of Dialogue in Poland, the University of Granada’s Medialab in Spain, as well as Shared Future CIC in the UK and Community Places in Northern Ireland. The project is funded by Erasmus+.
