This event is for high-school-aged young people across the Scottish Episcopal Church and beyond—whether they are new to prayer, curious about faith, or already involved in church life.

Do I need to be part of a church to come?

Accepted Answer

No. You’re welcome whether you go to church regularly, occasionally, or not at all. The event is designed to be open and approachable.

Question 3

What is “prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament”?

Accepted Answer

It’s a reflective way of praying in church, rooted in the tradition of spending time near the Blessed Sacrament (the consecrated bread from Holy Communion). You don’t need to have done it before, and it will be explained during the event.

Will there be other young people there?

Yes! This event is being supported across the Province, and we expect young people from different locations to attend. It’s a chance to connect with others your age who are exploring prayer and faith.

What will the day involve?

There’ll be games, short talks, small group discussion, time in church, and food. It’s a relaxed and friendly afternoon with space to think, ask questions, and experience prayer in a different way.
