A limited number of tickets are now available to young people and adults for the Public Gallery in the Boothroyd Room at Portcullis House, to observe the oral witness sessions of this first Youth Select Committee sitting.
The Youth Select Committee is a initiative supporting young people to hold inquires into issues that young people care about, in order to influence policies and legislation - this year enquiry is on Mental Health
The Committee's current mandate comes from issues prioritised by members of the British Youth Council and UK Youth Parliament as well as a national poll of 876 000 young people.
At the end of an inquiry the Committee will produce a report setting out its findings and making recommendations to the Government.
Please note: On the 3rd July 2015 another witness session will be held
