About this event

Family & Education • Children & Youth

Over the past few months, young people have been working together to explore what matters most to them in education – from consistent careers advice and post-16 pathways to feeling supported during exams.

Now, they’re ready to share their ideas and start a conversation with school staff about how we can work together to create a shared Education Charter. One that all schools can sign up to – helping ensure every young person gets the guidance, support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Join us for a practical session on how schools can better support pupils through exam pressures, careers advice and post-16 options.

These areas sit at the heart of Ofsted’s Personal Development judgement, where inspectors look closely at:

  • How well schools build pupils’ confidence, resilience and mental health
  • The quality of careers guidance and compliance with Provider Access legislation
  • How effectively young people are prepared for their next steps beyond school

This event will share ideas and strategies to strengthen your school’s provision, enhance inspection readiness, and, most importantly, give pupils the tools they need to thrive.
