Online event

Following the success of the past 3 conferences, we will be hosting an interactive online conference for children and young people with SEND

About this event

This is a conference with a difference – designed and delivered by young people for young people. This conference is an incredible opportunity for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities to build on their participation skills, develop their voice and feel empowered to participate in decision making at a local, national and strategic level.

What did children and young people say about our last online Youth Voice Matters Conference?

- “It was so fun and nice to know that we are being listened to”

- “It was really fun, it was interactive and included us”

- “Really good and loved putting my views across and being listened to”

The conference will be an all-day virtual event on Wednesday 23nd February 2022.

There is a limit of 7 young people per group so sign up quickly before all the spaces are gone! Please note that the total number of tickets you reserve will include the tickets of both group leaders and children and young people.

Please only reserve spaces if you have an existing children and young people’s group and only reserve the number of tickets you actually need as to allow as many groups as possible to attend.

This event is taking place during February half term 2022 so please consider how you would support your groups virtually before signing up and reserving spaces.

We will send a further invitation in December for you to register individual young people who will be attending with you as part of your group. All dates for you to return delegate information and consent forms will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email when you reserve your spaces on Eventbrite.

Please click on this link here for an FAQ's document for young people who might want to know more about the day.

N.B. In the context of this conference young people are no older than 25.
