Os yw prysurdeb bywyd yr oes sydd ohoni yn rhoi straen arnoch, beth am alw heibio’r Ŵyl Les ar ddydd Sadwrn, am gyngor ar sut i wneud eich bywyd yn haws.

Bydd pob math o weithgareddau i’ch helpu i ymlacio – o ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar i grefft ymladd; dosbarthiadau darlunio i yoga.

Bydd gan nifer o sefydliadau partner stondinau lle gallwch gael cyngor ar fyw’n well, boed yn ddysgu am bŵer mêl, neu ddysgu am fwydydd iach i’ch atal rhag bwyta bisgedi!

Mae’r ŵyl hon yn rhan o raglen ddigwyddiadau arddangosfa David Nash.

Mae rhai staff yn siarad Cymraeg, rhai’n dysgu ac eraill yn siarad Saesneg yn unig. Cadwch lygad am y llinynnau Iaith Gwaith sy’n dangos pwy yw pwy. Os ydych chi’n dysgu Cymraeg, rhowch gynnig arni!

Yn ystod y dydd bydd nifer o sgyrsiau a gweithgareddau.

Dewiswch o'r canlynol:

  • Myfyrio

Dewch i ddysgu sut gall myfyrio dawelu a chryfhau eich meddwl. Sesiwn Gymraeg am 12pm / Sesiwn Saesneg am 3pm

  • Dosbarth darlunio

Dosbarth yn arddangosfa David Nash. 11am a 2pm.

  • Yoga

Cyfle i ddarganfod buddion corfforol a meddyliol y gelfyddyd hynafol hon. 1.30pm a 2.30pm

  • Hyfforddiant Cryfder

Does dim angen gampfa, wrth i Hyfforddwr Personol Rhodd Hughes eich arwain drwy ymarferion sydd yn bosibl ei wneud yn y cartref beth bynnag yw eich oedran. Sesiwn Gymraeg am 2pm / Sesiwn Saesneg am 3pm

  • Tai Chi

Ymarfer corff ymlaciol sy'r un mor llesol â gweithgareddau mwy corfforol. Sesiwn Gymraeg am 2pm / Sesiwn Saesneg am 3pm

  • Hunan-amddiffyn

Dewch i ddysgu ambell dric fydd yn gwneud i chi deimlo'n saffach a mwy hyderus. 11am a 1pm.

  • Ymwybyddiaeth Awtistiaeth

Bydd David Enright, Dirprwy Reolwr Gwasanaethau Ymwelwyr ac eiriolwr awtistiaeth yn yr Amgueddfa, yn trafod y cyflwr. 11am a 3pm

Sesiwn Saesneg yn unig. Os hoffech chi gael dehongliad Cymraeg, e-bostiwch digwyddiadau@amgueddfacymru.ac.uk o leiaf wythnos cyn y digwyddiad.

  • Ffrindiau Dementia

Sesiwn hyfforddi i helpu pobl sy'n nabod rhywun sy'n byw â dementia. 12pm a 2pm.

Sesiwn Saesneg yn unig. Os hoffech chi gael dehongliad Cymraeg, e-bostiwch digwyddiadau@amgueddfacymru.ac.uk o leiaf wythnos cyn y digwyddiad.

Mae'r sesiynau hyn am ddim, ond rhaid rhoi blaendal o £5 ar gyfer pob sesiwn. Caiff y blaendal hwn ei ad-dalu ar ôl i ni gadarnhau eich bod yn y gweithgaredd. Fodd bynnag, mae croeso i chi gyfrannu arian i'r Amgueddfa, sy'n elusen gofrestredig. Rhowch wybod i'r person sy'n gwirio'ch tocyn os ydych yn dymuno gwneud hyn.

Everyone’s feeling the strain these days and if you are feeling frazzled and stressed out by your busy life, it might well be worth taking some time away from the Saturday chores to come along to our Wellbeing Festival to see what you can do to make your life easier.

We’ll have a range of activities for you to try from mindfulness to martial arts; drawing classes to downward dog all guaranteed to help you reduce your stress levels.

We’ll also have stalls from lots of different partner organisations to give you the right tools to live better. Whether it’s finding out about the power of exercise or learning to make a quick healthy snack to stop you reaching for the biscuits mid-afternoon!

During the day there will be a number of talks and activities that you can try.

Choose from –

  • Meditation

Find out how meditation can calm and strengthen your mind. Welsh session at 12pm / English session at 3pm

  • Drawing class

Take part in a drawing class in the David Nash exhibition space. 11am and 2pm

  • Yoga

Discover the physical and mental benefits to this ancient art. 1.30pm and 2.30pm

  • Strength training

No gym required as personal trainer Rhodd Hughes guides you through some exercises you can do at home whatever your age. English session at 2pm and Welsh session at 3pm

  • Tai Chi

A gentle exercise form that is as good for your health as more vigorous types of exercise. Welsh session at 2pm / English session at 3pm

  • Self-defence

Learn a few tips and tricks to help make you feel safer and more confident. Sessions at 11am and 1pm

This session is in English only. If you would like Welsh facilitation please email events@museumwales.ac.uk at least a week before the event.

  • Autism Awareness

David Enright, Deputy Visitor Services manager is an autism champion within the Museum and discusses the condition. Talks at 11am and 3pm

This session is in English only. If you would like Welsh facilitation please email events@museumwales.ac.uk at least a week before the event.

  • Dementia Friends

A training session to help people who know someone living with dementia. Talks at 12pm and 2pm

This session is in English only. If you would like Welsh facilitation please email events@museumwales.ac.uk at least a week before the event.

These sessions are free however there is a refundable deposit of £5 for each session. You will be refunded the money once you have been scanned in for the activity. However you can choose to donate the money to the Museum, a registered charity. Please let the person checking your ticket know if you wish to do this.


This festival is being held as part of the programme surrounding the David Nash exhibition.

Some of our staff speak Welsh, some are learning and others speak English only. Keep an eye out for the Iaith Gwaith lanyards to see who’s who. If you’re learning Welsh, give it a go!
