Event description
We live in an information age and with the advent of smart systems and technology we have never had more data at our fingertips.

About this Event

On the railways, openly available live tracking systems can sometimes provide realtime information quicker than to hardworking staff, particularly when things go wrong.

Information is a powerful tool in the armoury for customer service as it is possible to fully inform passengers of problems, how to deal with them and how long they might be affected.

We have a panel of guest speakers from across the rail industry who can share their experience, ideas and solutions on how to improve the customer experience.

On the panel are:

Richard Clinnick – Head of News, Rail Magazine

Suzanne Donnelly – Commercial Director, LNER

Blake Cracknell – Train Manager, Eurostar

Nathaniel Owen – Driver Manager, GTR Gatwick Express

Tom Cairns - Founder, Realtime Trains

Representing the railway press, Train Operating Company management, train staff, platform staff and realtime data innovators our panel will each give a 10 minute presentation from their perspective on this challenge.

After the presentations will be a Q&A session followed by refreshments and networking.

Agenda:

18:00 – Arrival

18:30 – Presentations

19:30 – Q&A / Debate

20:00 – Refreshments and Networking
