About this event

Monologue Wednesdays

Missing being able to submerge yourself into the world of another character? Miss no more! Covid-19 is giving us the perfect opportunity to work on our solo performances through masting the delivery of monologues.

Working as a small group, and using improvisation techniques we will create a story involving a life changing incident. Using this incident as our starting point we will uncover and sketch out the central characters involved. Individually you will create short monologues that explore this person's point of view. We will play with methods for effective characterisation breathing life into these characters making them feel like real people that we can relate to.

Wednesdays 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th July

Sessions will take place over Zoom video call. You'll be emailed a link to join the call, and all you will need is a pen and paper.
