Event description

Description

Join us in celebrating the start of the festive season at our annual YuleFest event, where we will be presenting a series of free talks by an exciting diverse range of bestselling authors throughout the day. Pick up a complimentary mince pie and port, sit back and listen to one of our guest speakers and purchase a signed copy for a special Christmas gift.

We will be welcoming Kate Young, who will be sharing some of her literary recipes featured in 'The Little Library Cookbook' at 1:30pm. 'The Little Library Cookbook' captures the magic and wonder of the meals enjoyed by some of our best-loved fictional characters, featuring over 100 recipes inspired by books, such as vanilla cake from Anne of Green Gables, spagetti and Meatballs from the Godfather, Blueberry Pie from Charlottes Web... and many more.

Kate Young is the winner of the Guild of Food Writers Blogger of the Year Award 2017, for her blog The Little Library Cafe. She contributes the Novel Recipes column fortnightly on the Guardian Books site.
