At the end of the training you will:
Understand the importance of a sex positive and inclusive approach to sexual health.
• Gain confidence to talk about a range of contraceptive methods and the most common STIs with young people and signpost them to appropriate services.
• Promote barrier methods, condom distribution and carry out a condom demonstration.
• Recognise important safeguarding issues and take a multiagency approach to keeping young people safe.
This training course is FREE to professionals working with young people in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Priority will be given to professionals working in these areas.
Attendance at this training is free of charge.
