as well as the Launch of The SOLACE Project in it's multidisciplinary fullness!
This is a multimedia event of innovative artistry co-created, soul music with global sources made immersive; a doorway to timely realms of creative exchange.

The Exhibition
features photos, videos, and audio from ZackieL’s nearly two-month stay with the Shipibo-Conibo Vargas family at their Sanken Nete retreat centre in the Peruvian Amazon.
He recorded a piece used in the opening credits of the Universal Pictures FilmTàr, as well as connecting with the family and the medicine.
The audio captures Icaros - ceremonial medicine songs - described by Mama Elisa Vargas as pieces devoted to 'processing and healing the grief of our world as it has lived through covid, wars, and global suffering.”

ZackieL is a multidisciplinary artist devoted to regenerative futures and worldwide vision.
As a singer/songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist – his signature styles of Global Soul and Global Bass are rooted in the years of living, adventuring and performing worldwide.
The soul, neo-soul, folk, jazz, trip hop and world electronic music foundations are influenced by the many cultures and musical traditions he came to immerse himself in and love - West and North African, South Asian, Latin American, First Nations Amazonian and Australian - as well as the call to raise the dancefloor!
Having hosted and performed at 100´s of events in the past 10 years in 14 countries, curation is now second nature. He's also a musical facilitator and teacher for retreats and vocal liberation workshops, a spoken word poet, writer, firekeeper and ethnographic field recordist studied in Ethnomusicology.
He is a co-founder of the Ubuntu Village Decolonial Healing and Humanity Space currently in residency with &Soul.
