Zambia Jazz, Food and Art Evening Fund Raiser
Pastor Paul Swala is an amazing guy who became a Christian on death row in Zambia after praying ‘Lord if all things are possible, then please get me out of prison’ (Mark 10:27) and who has dedicated his life ever since working in Zambian prisons and with orphans and street kids, setting up a school and training centre. He gave his testimony at HTB’s 2015 Leadership Conference which has gone around the world. His latest venture is to set up a health clinic in one of the huge shanty towns that covers much of Lusaka, Zambia, one of the poorest countries in the world. I had the privilege of visiting Paul's school and growing community in May 2015, as well as visiting prisons with him.
As a result I am now seeking to raise some money towards the costs of the health centre and school for orphans by holding a fund raising evening at Alex Stewart Clark's, 15 Ivory House, Plantation Wharf, Wandsworth on 12th November from 7pm, with sale of some amazing works of art including paintings, sculptures, jewellery and photos. There will also be live jazz and music....
Tickets are £15 plus booking fee and include food and wine – with all proceeds going to this cause.
