After a ridiculously funny launch event, we're doing it again! Zapato Presents Comedy + Beer Night #2 at The Civic in partnership with the renowned Nodding Dog Comedy, and this one’s loaded with radio and telly talent!

Back at the mic is your host with the most: the outrageous, fabulous and effortlessly funny Jonathan Mayor. A true original - you’ll love him!

MEET THE ACTS...

YOUR OPENING ACT, TOM WRIGGLESWORTH

Tom Wrigglesworth is a Sheffield comedian, known for his warm, witty storytelling style. He gained attention with his Edinburgh Fringe show An Open Return Letter to Richard Branson, which led to his BBC Radio 4 series Tom Wrigglesworth’s Open Letters and Hang Ups. On TV, he's appeared in Engineering Giants (BBC2) and Discovery Channel science shows.

He won So You Think You’re Funny? in 2003 and a Sony Radio Award in 2010, and was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. He’s clever, charming, and very VERY funny.

YOUR HEADLINER, BETHANY BLACK

Bethany Black is a comedian, actor and writer who has been critically acclaimed for her personal, confessional style of comedy. She's dark, honest and sharply funny!

She has had leading roles in television shows such as Cucumber, Banana andTofu by Russell T Davies for Channel 4 for which she has won awards, she was also a guest star in Doctor Who and played one of the series baddies in Channel 4 police drama No Offence.

Bethany has also has written for TV shows such as Frankie Boyle's New World Order and Mummy's Big Queer Do as well as written jokes for many of the guests on your favourite panel shows.

Hailing from a Welsh sheep farm, Stuart Thomas is a witty and unabashedly honest comedian. As a proudly fat, bisexual bloke, Stuart’s razor-sharp jokes cut through boundaries, delivering laughter with a distinctive edge. While humorously navigating his questionable morals surrounding sheep, Stuart’s comedic style is as bold as it is entertaining. Embracing his roots, he brings a unique perspective to the stage, weaving anecdotes from rural life into a tapestry of hilarity.
