Zen Tarot is a monthly online get-together where two streams of spiritual wisdom come together as one: Zen Buddhism and the Tarot.
During these one-hour sessions, we will pull one card from a Zen/Buddhist-themed Tarot deck such as the Sacred She and the Dharma Tarot. We will discuss how this card’s teaching plays out in our lives, accepting the synchronicity of its appearance. We will then sit together in several ‘Zazen’-inspired meditations, guided by Stephen McCabe – a professional Tarot reader and ordained Zen Buddhist. The guided meditations will include reflections on the card’s theme as well as offering us space to simply be with the breath and the body without grasping at our thoughts.
I kindly request that participants have their cameras switched on where possible, even if you choose to remain silent for the session (which is welcome).
These monthly sessions are offered in the Buddhist spirit of Dana. Whilst there is a suggested donation of £10 for each session, you can donate less or more depending on your circumstances. First Wednesdays of each month.
