We can't wait to see you there!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have yoga experience?

No, the event will be suitable for beginners but there will be options to suit more advanced yoga practitioners too - so all levels are welcome!

Should I bring a yoga mat?

Yes a yoga mat is required. However, if you don't have one and are new to yoga, let us know and we can arrange to provide one.

What should I wear?

Comfy clothing. It's about relaxation. Leggings and t-shirt/vest are ideal for yoga but we'd suggest you bring a sweater or blanket for when you're winding down, and for the sound bath, as it may feel a little cool after you've been exercising.

Can you tell me more about the charity?

We're raising funds for Brainwave, a national charity that supports children with disabilities and additional needs, to help them reach their full potential. The event is organised by Spice PR which is supporting Brainwave as its charity of the year. One of the Brainwave team will be at the event.

Will there be refreshments?

Your ticket includes a juice or smoothie and these will be served after the sound bath. Water will be available throughout, although feel free to bring your own water bottle too.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, the Tipi is in the garden of the Jolly Thresher on Higher Lane (roughly half way between Lymm and Altrincham). There is a car park with adequate parking and entrance to the garden is via a gate directly from the car park.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely! We promise you will feel very welcome. It's about a bit of 'me time' and sometimes that's something you want to do by yourself so don't feel apprehensive. Our team will be on hand to welcome you.

Are there any medical restrictions?

Sound healing isn't recommended for certain conditions such as epilepsy, pregnancy, hearing issues (tinnitus), people with pacemakers or with metal implants. If you have any concerns on the day about the sound bath or yoga, please speak to our instructors on arrival.
