Event Overview
Join us for a Sunday lunch of good food and company at one of our carefully selected restaurants. Sarah Briggs, the founder of Zest Singles, will be there to welcome you. This event is designed to bring together like-minded singles over 50 in a relaxed atmosphere.

Our table is booked for 1pm, and will have a private dining area.

Don't want to drive, well you can catch the train from Exeter to Yeoford along the Tarka Line

The train station at Yeoford is only a two minute walk away from pub.

From Exeter St David's it takes approximately 20 mins to Yeoford.

The scenic Tarka Line runs from Exeter to Barnstaple, following the gentle river valleys of the Yeo and Taw. The Tarka Line is an ideal and picturesque way to visit Barnstaple, capital of North Devon or to reach the great cathedral city of Exeter. The line has linked North and South Devon since 1854

About The Duck at Yeoford

Sarah and James are friends of mine. I've known James from my days working in country house hotels and he was the Head Chef. His food is amazing!

Set in beautiful countryside, this multi-roomed 19th-century (1860) free house is easily accessible from the train station on The Tarka Line connecting Exeter and Barnstaple. Offering locally brewed Devon ales, including our own label, Muddy Duck ale, local Devon lagers, Sandford Cider and an eclectic list of over 40 wines, plus 20 sold by the glass. We also have our own wine label; red, white and rosé. Add soft drinks and spirits, an interesting selection of local gins, freshly brewed coffee and tea, practically on tap, there's something for everyone.
