Zine and Collage Workshop

Join Manchester-based artists Katie and Ella for a hands-on, inspiring 2-hour zine and collage workshop.

We’ll begin by exploring our inspiration booklets and Instagram highlights; filled with collage styles, visual prompts, and narrative ideas to help spark your imagination.

Next, you’ll create your own 8-page folded zine from a single sheet of A3 paper. Once your zine is made, you’ll dive into our treasure trove of rare magazines, vintage books, journals, and textured papers to collage inside it. You’ll shape each page using colour, texture, found words, and imagery; building a loose story, mood, or theme as you go. Think sequences, recurring motifs, character hints, fragmented text, or abstract visual storytelling. Gentle prompts are always on hand to guide your ideas.

Your ticket includes all materials and a drink from Fig + Sparrow, so you can sip as you create. By the end, you’ll leave with a fully handmade zine filled with your own collaged story.
