About this event
Welcome to the Artizine Club, the UK’s biggest regular zine-making event.
Now part of The Art House’s vibrant arts programme, Artizine Club is more than a workshop - it’s a springboard for creativity, self-publishing, and radical imagination.
Each month, we gather a community of curious creatives to reclaim hand-made media as a playground. Whether you're making your first zine or deepening a personal publishing practice, Artizine offers a space to explore playful, hands-on storytelling together.
✂️ What to expect:Every session explores a new theme and a different zine folding format, announced one week before the workshop.
Come once or join us each month as a regular; either way, you’ll leave with your own handmade zine (and a full heart).
Why join the Artizine Club?
• Learn how to make all kinds of zines: visual, text-based, and mixed media,
• Build your creative confidence and grow your personal art practice
• Connect with like-minded people in an inclusive, relaxed environment.
About Artizine:
Artizine is a socially engaged zine project led by East London-based artist Ioana Simion. Rooted in play, participation, and DIY publishing, I create welcoming spaces for people to explore their creativity and share stories.
Since 2019, Ioana has facilitated workshops with major cultural institutions and grassroots groups alike. Her approach celebrates process over perfection, centering the radical spirit of analog emotion and collective expression.
