Zoom Breakout Room Practice for Senior Professionals
Event Information
About this Event
This is a LIVE PRACTICE SESSION where participants will practise setting up the breakout rooms and acquire a real digital skill with the guidance of an experienced technical trainer!
This is NOT A WEBINAR or pre-recorded video tutorial where someone behind the screen only informs you how Zoom works.
The pandemic related social isolations and lockdowns made people hungry for connections and meaningful discussions, but few Zoom users actually know how to organise virtual events that go beyond the usual one-sided meetings, presentations and webinars.
Be an exception! Be a skilled Zoom Host!
Let's use technology differently!!! ;-))
To attend this event, you will need to be an experienced Zoomer who already fully mastered the Zoom basics. If you feel you need a review on the Zoom basics or want to increase your confidence, please visit my free Zoom Basic course first.
This 1 /1.5-hour live group practice will give you the opportunity to master the most important advanced feature of the Zoom app: How to set up small discussion groups within your virtual meeting using the Zoom 'Breakout Room' function.
Each participant will have the opportunity to try out how to be the Zoom Host and create the breakout rooms within our practice group with the guidance of your trainer. You do not need to have the paid Zoom account for this practice session.
Wait! There is more!
You will learn not only how to activate and use the Zoom breakout room button but also learn what you need to do and not to do before(!) you will send people into the breakout rooms, how to broadcast a message while people in the break out rooms; how to pop into a breakout room and how to keep your event safe for your participants.
We will also discuss how to sequence your event to make the whole experience enjoyable for your participants, what is the best practice for the breakout room.
This event is designed for senior professionals over the age of 50 and they have priority attending, but younger people also can register.
Places are limited to max 8 tickets per group, so register early to avoid disappointment.
Your trainer is a qualified teacher, an experienced technical trainer and a life transition coach.
