About this event

Come for the dance, Stay for the people

At our core, we’re all about connection – through movement, music, and community. We use dance not just to teach steps, but to spread joy, laughter, and a whole lot of good vibes!

For the past 8 years, we’ve proudly been known as London’s friendliest dance school – and we like to think it’s because our classes feel more like a fun family reunion (minus the awkward arguments!).

We’ve built a community around what we love, and now we’d love to welcome you into it.

Come join our free beginners Zouk class this August – no partner or experience needed. And if you love it (which we think you will), our next beginners courses start this September! Just bring an open mind – we’ll take care of the rest.

What Happens on the day?

We kick things off with a warm welcome – you’ll meet the team, say hello, and settle in. No pressure, no awkward vibes – just a chance to feel comfortable and boost your energy!

We’ll ease into a gentle warm-up to get your body moving and your mind in the zone, then dive into a fun, beginner-friendly Zouk class. You’ll learn the fundamentals step by step, with plenty of time to practise in between and build your confidence.

At the end, you’ll get the chance to film what you’ve learned – and our team will treat you to a big group demonstration (always a crowd favourite!).

After that, we’ll share our mission to grow the Zouk scene in London – and how you can be part of it. We’ll also have a special Open Day offer for our new 8-week beginner course starting Sept 10th. If you’re ready to take a leap of faith, we’d absolutely love you to join our community.

To wrap it all up, we’ll have a 30-minute mini social where you can practise what you’ve learned, chat with the team, connect with others – and probably get a little sweaty!

P.s. Wear anything comfy you like to move in, no dress code!

What exactly is Brazilian Zouk?

The Mesmerising Latin Partner Dance - With its Fusion of Funky and Sensual Styling, Fluid Flowing Momentum, and flowing Head Movements.. This dance brings together flow, connection, breathing and joy. There is a big reason why so many dancers from other styles such as Bachata, Salsa and Kizomba are coming to learn Brazilian Zouk.

Our dancing is often danced to Commercial Pop, RnB, Latin, and Reggaeton Music - it's the perfect way to meet new friends, gain confidence, stay fit and have a laugh!

Don't worry if you're brand new to the dance floor - All our dance communities are super friendly and welcomes everyone!

What does 'Brazilian Zouk' actually look like?

Take a look at the videos below - We've added different styles of Zouk for you to see - From fun and funky and urban to spiritual, flowing to expressive - Zouk is beatiful in all its forms!

Why are we offering free classes? (It's not because we're crazy!)

We LOVE growing the Zouk community in London and want more and more people to fall in love and support Zouk in the UK.

If you fall in love with the dance, we’d love you to join our new 8 week beginners Zouk course starting on Weds 10th Sept in Chalk Farm or if you struggle to commit to a course, check out one of our one day beginners bootcamp!

Community, Community, Community

We are a very open, encouraging and caring community, and we want everyone to feel welcome. In dance it’s not about gender or specific roles; you can ‘lead’ or ‘follow’ depending on what your feel comfortable with – We hope to see you soon!
