What should I expect from a Zumba class?
Zumba takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.
Expect a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
What should I wear to a Zumba class?
Just wear anything you can move in and are happy to sweat through! Bring water for that sweet, sweet hydration!
I’ve never danced before – will I still be able to do it?
Yes! Zumba is for everybody! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out. This is a fitness class to great music and with high doses of fun. I’m not here to teach you how to dance – just to exercise in an enjoyable way. Try not to think of it as a dance class!
