About this event
You ask, we share. Let’s empower each other on our crypto journeys.
Are you crypto curious but don’t know where to begin?
Crypto is one of the great financial opportunities - and societal and technological transformations - of our times.
But with the industry moving so fast, and such an overwhelm of mixed messages in the public perception, it's not always easy to figure out how to get involved.
If you're keen to learn more about the benefits and the opportunities of crypto, our #CryptoConfidence monthly drop-in sessions are a way for you to get inspired, feed your curiosity and learn from inspiring women what crypto could do for you - whether that's in the community, in finance, as a career, or life experiences.
There are so many opportunities out there in crypto, for everyone: come and learn with us, and let's take advantage of the opportunities together!
When it comes to sustainability, Zumo's mission is to demystify the information surrounding crypto and its impact on the climate, helping everyone to understand, assess and contribute to making the industry more sustainable. This month, our Sustainability Advisor, Kirsteen Harrison, showcases how Zumo is leading the charge on decarbonising crypto.
Kirsteen is an established specialist in carbon footprinting, net zero strategies and the circular economy. With an overarching interest in climate policy and the role of organisational culture in enabling effective climate action, she has developed a particular interest in blockchains and cryptocurrencies, both as part of the problem and as part of the solution.
Your Host: Amelie Arras - Marketing Director at Zumo.
Amelie's personal mission is to bring fun and accessibility to payments and fintech communications. She is a highly driven and passionate advocate for the benefits of digital transformation and collaboration in the financial and payments world. An intrepid traveller, she made her way across the US, Asia and Europe paying only in cryptocurrencies, demonstrating the real life challenges of using an emerging payment method as well as the power of communities.
