Zumos Pupil Wellbeing Initiative!
Thu 3 November 2016, 17:30 – 19:30 GMT
This event is open to Head teachers, Deputy Heads, Pastoral team, Safeguarding, SENCO’s, PHSE leads or anyone who leads on pupil wellbeing.
We are going to demonstrate an online service which can offer your school a solution of empowerment when supporting your pupils through difficult times. Zumos is a fun and friendly way to engage children and informing and guiding them in a positive way to help themselves on a range of issues such as bullying, anxious behaviours, depression, eating disorders, moving to another country etc. This isn't a counselling service. We offer expertly written recordings, links to further help, a safe space to voice worries (alerting the right individuals) and empowering schools to put your rescources to good use through statistical data.
- Our statistical information tells you what issues your children are looking at and what worries they are voicing.
- We have CAMHS evaluations in the form of fun quizzes for the children which can also give you data about how your children are feeling and where best to pool your rescources.
Our service can be bought by individual schools, though we hope to make the service completely free so that every school has the chance to use it. We have liaised with many charities and have particular funding possibilities in mind for your LEA’s so if you would like to try our service for free we would really like to get you signed up and help you to apply for your funding!
