Over the past year or so and as her Christian faith has strengthened, Ivona has felt a strong pull towards carrying out more community based work. She is currently an Ambassador of the local Drop In Bereavement Centre and volunteer at the Mental Health Carers' group.
The 'birth' of 'Space To Talk' (S2T) came through in a Vision and alongside the realisation that she wanted to create a platform where people could share any concerns about life and be listened to confidentially, respectfully and with no judgement. S2T is forum where the lonely, the shy, those feeling they don't belong for whatever reason, would be welcomed regardless of their social background, ethnicity, age, gender, beliefs or any of other 'differences'. Due to co-vid 19 meetings have moved away from face to face interactions to an online presence.
