IHBC Scotland Branch
The Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) is the UK’s key professional body for conservation specialists from all skills and disciplines. We aim to help everyone understand more about the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of looking after:
- buildings, their fabric, setting and interiors, old and new
- places, including gardens and cultural landscapes;and
- any areas valued for their cultural heritage.
Scotland Branch of IHBC is run by a voluntary committee which supports local and national CPD events and networking across the IHBC’s membership in Scotland. Branches are the local forum for the exchange of ideas, information and experience for members. Scotland Branch holds meetings, CPD training events and activities, engages in social media activities and publishes bulletins and newsletters.
