EDMONTON NATIONAL INDIGENOUS FIRST PEOPLE’S DAY FESTIVAL
30TH ANNIVERSARY – SUNDAY, JUNE 21st - 10 AM – Re/Max Field

Edmonton, April, 2026 – The City of Edmonton, Aboriginal Affairs, presents the upcoming, Edmonton National Indigenous First People’s Day Festival, 30th Anniversary, Sunday, June 21st at Re/Max Field 10233 96 Ave NW Edmonton AB. This open-air “rain or shine” free event will bring together an audience of 10,000 to experience live musical performances, traditional dancers, Snowbirds Acrobatic Jets, food and merchandise vendors with culturally based edibles and crafts.

“Edmonton National Indigenous First People’s Day Celebration, has been commemorating this occasion now for 30 years,” said Glenn Laboucan, 2026 Chair. “Since 1996, this annual concert festival is one of Canada’s favorite summer events. Our Committee’s goal is to produce an original, creative and wonderful experience, while keeping Indigenous music in the forefront.”
