About Roshni Kitchen & Fouzia Ali
Roshni Kitchen is a vibrant community café managed by the charity Roshni Sheffield, with a mission to serve delicious, home-cooked meals bursting with flavour—while empowering South Asian women facing barriers to employment by nurturing their culinary talents.
The café is led by Fouzia Ali, an Ayurvedic practitioner passionate about sharing authentic, traditional knowledge of health and wellbeing. Fouzia divides her time between developing community projects at Roshni and promoting holistic health through food and education.
Our menu features a variety of Ayurvedic dishes, including our signature Thali meal, crafted with the six tastes of Ayurveda and prepared according to its healing principles. We’re continually evolving our café space to be a hub for nourishment, learning, and community—bringing the wisdom of wholeness and wellness to everyone.
