We are so delighted that you’ve taken the time to visit us. Whether you’re new to the area, searching for a church home, or simply curious about who we are, you’ve come to the right place. By God’s abundant grace, our fellowship in Langley was established in 2016, inspired by His divine purpose and rooted in the promise of Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Our journey has been a testament to faith, prayer, and the unfailing love of God, who continues to lead and sustain us every step of the way. When you join us, you’ll experience vibrant bilingual worship, uplifting messages grounded in the truth of Scripture, and a warm, welcoming community that seeks to reflect Christ’s love.
No matter where you are in your spiritual journey—whether you are taking your first steps in faith or have been walking with the Lord for years—we are here to support and walk alongside you. Take a moment to explore our website to learn more about our ministries, upcoming events, and service times. We would be honored to have you worship with us in person or online.

May God’s blessings, peace, and purpose fill your life abundantly. We look forward to meeting you soon!
How It Started
The church that gathers at City on a Hill today began with a few families who first met in Slough in 2016 for a small house fellowship, grounded in the vision of Matthew 5:14—"You are the light of the world." From humble beginnings, we have grown into a vibrant family church, serving both Tamil and English speaking congregations. God's faithfulness has shaped us into a community of believers, united in worship, fellowship, and mission.
Mission & Vision
COAH’s Mission: PREPARE & PREPARE OTHERS
Our journey has been one of unwavering faith, prayer, and the steadfast love of God, who continues to lead us at every step. As a body of Christ, we are committed to preparing ourselves and others to walk in the fullness of God’s calling, to grow in spiritual maturity, and to live out our mission with purpose.
COAH’s Vision:
In alignment with the word of God in Matthew 28:16-20, Our vision is
- To prepare the Church for the glorious return of Jesus Christ.
- To strengthen believers through the Word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
- Reaching the lost with the message of salvation, making disciples of all nations.
- Raising up the next generation to live for the Lord.
Our Faith
As a Church of God congregation, we believe the entire Bible to be fully and equally inspired, the written Word of God. We have adopted the following Declaration of Faith as the official expression of our doctrine:
- In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
- In one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father, acting as our Intercessor.
- That all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded by God for all and is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
- That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are accomplished by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- In sanctification, subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit.
- That holiness is God’s standard of living for His people.
- In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, subsequent to a cleansed heart.
- In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
- In water baptism by immersion, and that all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
- That divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
- In the Lord’s Supper and the washing of the saints’ feet.
- In the premillennial second coming of Jesus: First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth for a thousand years.
- In the bodily resurrection: Eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
