I moved to Leeds about three years ago completely by myself, I didnt know anyone at all and I had to ultimately start from scratch with making a friendship group. I'll admit I'm not exactly a shy person or someone who struggles with making friends (i can talk to a brick wall) but I know a lot of people are. That's why I created Aligned Collective, we hold monthly events with all kind of activities so that girls can meet new people and share new experiences in a low pressure way. One of the best parts for me when I run these events is seeing friendships truley blossom and people connecting.
