My love of baking began at a very young age, inspired by my mum and nurtured through training at one of the country’s top catering colleges. In 2011, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening my first café near Malvern, followed by a larger café a year later.
Over the years my business evolved from cafés to bespoke baking and outside catering, before returning to café life alongside my son Jake, a chef and passionate baker. Our commitment to cooking everything from scratch made the café a much-loved local destination, with Jake’s sourdough bread becoming legendary.
When Jake relocated in 2020, I took on the challenge of sourdough baking myself. After plenty of practice (and a few early disasters!), the bread gained a loyal following. In 2022, my sourdough bread was awarded a Great Taste Award by the Guild of Fine Foods.
After selling my café in 2023, I now focus on selling baked goods at local markets and running friendly, hands-on cooking and baking workshops, sharing my skills, experience and love of great food with others.
