Dr Genevieve
Dr Genevieve von Lob is a Clinical Psychologist, Conscious Parenting Coach and author passionate about rebuilding the “village” that modern families so deeply need.
After 15 years working in the NHS, private practice on Harley Street and within corporate settings, she wrote two books published by Penguin: Five Deep Breaths: The Power of Mindful Parenting and Happy Parent, Happy Child. She now works with adults, teenagers and children (8+), and specialises in supporting Highly Sensitive Children (HSCs) and their parents.
Genevieve runs annual retreats for Highly Sensitive People, shorter day retreats, community gatherings, and courses for parents of sensitive and neurodivergent children. At the heart of her work is a simple belief: we were never meant to parent alone. Healing and resilience grow in community, not isolation.
Alongside her clinical work, Genevieve is deeply interested in collective trauma healing and is currently on the two year Timeless Wisdom Training in collective healing facilitation with Thomas Hübl. Her intention is to create safe, grounded spaces where families and individuals can feel supported, seen and strengthened.
She regularly appears on podcasts and in the media, speaking about conscious parenting, high sensitivity, neurodivergence, bullying and narcissism. Her work has been featured on BBC Woman’s Hour, Channel 4 News and in The Guardian.
Whether through retreats, courses or local community events, Genevieve’s mission is to help rebuild the village, so parents and sensitive souls feel less alone, more resourced, and more connected.
