Study Beyond English

Fliss Falconer — Founder of Study Beyond English & Creator of EchoGuide Theatre

Fliss Falconer is the founder and creative director of Study Beyond English, an emotionally intelligent learning ecosystem built to support children, families, educators, and performers with confidence, clarity, and compassion. After leaving the classroom to build a more humane, sustainable approach to education and performance, Fliss has become known for her warm, ceremonial style of hosting events — blending hospitality, storytelling, and psychological safety to create experiences that feel both grounding and transformative.

She is the creator of EchoGuide, EchoGuide Events, and now EchoGuide Theatre — a suite of tools and experiences designed to help people feel calm, confident, and supported in the moments that matter most. Her work is rooted in the belief that confidence isn’t something you’re born with; it’s something you can build when the environment is right, the support is thoughtful, and the experience feels safe.

Fliss hosts events that centre emotional intelligence, celebration, and belonging. Whether she’s guiding young performers through their first public reading, supporting teachers with CPD rooted in wellbeing, or creating ceremonial launch experiences for families, her mission is always the same: to help people feel seen, supported, and capable — without overwhelm, pressure, or perfectionism.

EchoGuide Theatre is the next evolution of that mission: a space where performance meets psychological safety, where learners can practise being brave, and where families can witness their children shine in a calm, structured, beautifully held environment.

Every event Fliss creates is infused with her signature approach — gentle, cinematic, and deeply human. She blends her background in education with her love of storytelling, ritual, and hospitality to craft experiences that feel magical, memorable, and meaningful.

If you’re looking for an event that celebrates growth, nurtures confidence, and honours the whole person, you’re in the right place.
