Story Club
Story Club is a collaboration between professional storytellers Pyn Stockman and Hannah Need. It offers a space for Home Educators to join a monthly hour long session with their young people. It is designed to improve oracy and literacy with a focus on supporting positive mental health.
Pyn and Hannah have lots of experience creating exciting, fun inclusive spaces for children and young people to enjoy, share and co create stories. They were keen to extend this to the many brilliant Home Educator families that they know. And so the idea for Story Club (Home School Edition) was formed.

More about Hannah: Hannah has always loved telling stories and playing with words and now she's a Storyteller!
She has extensive experience telling stories in education settings and is the Storyteller in Residence at a South London Primary School starting there in 2014. Over the past 12 years Storytelling in the school had gone from strength to strength supporting oracy and literacy. This is achieved through combining Hannah's expertise in communication skills and language development, from her background in Speech and Language Therapy, with her love of Storytelling.
For Hannah, Story Club brings together things she loves i.e. telling stories, working with children and their families and working with Pyn. Hannah believes that with Story Club we can all create a Storytelling community to enjoy stories and see where our imagination and creativity will lead us.
Hannah lives in London with her family where favourite places include St Paul's Cathedral and Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath where there are stunning views of London.
