Leeds Relational Practice Centre
The Leeds Relational Practice Centre (LRPC) supports local authorities across England to embed restorative, relational, and family‑led practice within children’s services. Drawing on over a decade of system‑wide improvement in Leeds, the Centre shares the city’s nationally recognised approaches to organisational development, social work practice, and service transformation.
Our work is shaped by Leeds’ award‑winning Child Friendly Leeds vision, launched in 2012 to make Leeds the best city for children and young people to grow up in. Guided by children’s voices and UNICEF’s child‑friendly city principles. As well as the city’s pioneering Family Valued programme, an evidence‑based model that promotes parentship working, restorative practice, strengthens family‑led decision‑making, and expands Family Group Conferencing as a core offer for families.
