Autism Inclusion Team
Autism Inclusion Team – Specialist Teaching Support Service
Supporting every step of the journey
At the heart of Staffordshire’s commitment to inclusive education, the Autism Inclusion Team (AIT) offers tailored support for children and young people with a diagnosis, or working diagnosis of Autism.
We work closely with nurseries, mainstream schools, and further education settings, providing expert advice, practical strategies, and guidance to staff, families, and pupils. Our goal is to help every young person thrive in their educational journey, with understanding and support that grows alongside them.
Support for Your Autism Journey
The Autism Inclusion Team is delighted to offer free, supportive sessions for parents and carers of children with an autism diagnosis—including those not yet referred to our service. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding, explore practical strategies, or simply connect with others on a similar journey, we are here to walk alongside you. Our sessions are designed to be informative, relaxed, and empowering for both you and your young person.
