Hi. I'm a local girl to Bideford who is fascinated by local history. I'm an author and artist. Witches are a passion of mine and this tour will teach you about the three women - Temperance LLoyd, Susanna Edwards and Mary Trembles - who were executed f`or performing witchcraft upon local residents and for causing mischeive and mayhem within the town. The tour will start in Old Town where the witches were reputed to have lived and will follow a trail around the town, stopping at places that were significant in the wicthes tale and will end at the former magistates court, where their story comes to a fateful end. The tour will last between 1.5 to 2 hours. Good footwear is recommended and the tour will require walking up the high street.
