The Loraine Michaelis Foundation was registered as a UK charity in 2021. It was founded to advance the education of the public into exposures to harmful and/or hazardous chemicals, particles or radiation in the environment or work place and in particular exploring the link between this and cancers, especially lobular breast cancer and work related cancers.

As well as educational and public awareness initiatives, the Loraine Michaelis Foundation is currently supporting research into lobular breast cancer and the consequences of exposure to synthetic jet engine oil additives and decomposition products. Two issues which touched our founders Tristan and Susan.
