Thanet Youth Employment and Skills Hub

The Hub is a collaborative initiative between Nelson College London, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and Thanet District Council. This project is part-funded by the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The Thanet Youth Employment and Skills Hub is a dedicated space for young people aged 16 to 24 to access the support and resources needed to succeed in their career journey. Whether you are looking for your first job, wanting to explore training options, or seeking career guidance, our team is here to help you turn your aspirations into reality.

What we offer:

The Hub acts as a one-stop shop, bringing together a variety of partners and services under one roof:

Careers Advice & Guidance: Get one-to-one support from qualified advisers to help you explore your options and plan your future.

Employability Support: Expert help with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation to ensure you stand out to employers.

Skills Development: Access to vocational training, workshops, and opportunities to build the skills you need for the modern workforce.

Employer Connections: Direct links to local employers, with opportunities for apprenticeships, work placements, and current job vacancies.

Wellbeing & Support: A friendly, inclusive environment where you can access holistic support and mentoring to help build your confidence.
