The Nile Festival was founded in the UK in 2024, born out of a need for regular community events that celebrate Sudanese culture and foster engagement within the Sudanese diaspora.

Recognising the lack of consistent opportunities for the Sudanese community to connect, we aim to create spaces where people can gather, network, and support one another. Our events focus on the arts, cultural expression, and family-oriented activities, providing a platform for shared experiences and conversations. Through these gatherings, we hope to strengthen community ties and bring greater visibility to Sudan’s rich heritage.

Our flagship event, the annual Nile Festival, serves as a celebration of Sudanese culture, resilience, and unity, alongside fundraising efforts to support Sudan.
