14-19 Participation and Skills, Birmingham City Council

14-19 Participation and Skills Service within Birmingham City Council Education Services works in partnership with schools, colleges, providers, parents and young people to ensure the full participation of all young people in education, training or employment. We track all young people aged 16-18 to ensure they are accessing their entitlement to education or training. We oversee the strategic planning of Post 16 education and training in the city, in line with our duty to ensure there are suitable and sufficient places for all young people.  We  support and challenge the education sector in Birmingham to improve quality and outcomes for young people.
