2000m2 - Field of Enquiry workshop programme
Field of Enquiry is a programme of 10 Saturday workshops to explore the impact of the food system on our soil, our environment, livestock, the planet and our health through the 2000m2 lens. When you divide all the arable land on our planet by the people, we each have 2000m2.
You are invited to become a member of our Field of Enquiry team. Please let us know if would like to attend the whole series or individual sessions. The days are free to attend.
Whitmuir Community Benefit Society is funded by the Climate Challenge Fund to run the 2000m2 project. In addition to the Field of Enquiry workshop programme, we work with two local school communities to reduce green house gas emissions through community growing, cooking and composting on the 2000m2 field on the farm, in the school and at home. We are also piloting a rural food waste collection service.
Whitmuir Community Benefit Society use the resources of Whitmuir Farm to engage and educate the public in sustainable food and farming.
