Soho Life Drawing is a weekly life drawing class run by Ann Mackowski and Jennifer Moore. We also run a variety of art classes, taught by lead tutor Ann Mackowski.

​Ann Mackowski is an internationally exhibited artist and teacher. She started Soho Life Drawing after she realised how common it was for negative early educational experiences to discourage adults from making art later in life--and believes that it's a misconception that talent or creativity is necessarily innate. She founded Soho Life Drawing in 2016 to provide an affordable and accessible drop-in creative and social outlet in central London for artists and non-arts based professionals alike. ​ She is passionate about art-making's ability to improve personal wellbeing, and believes the process has a benefit that people should be encouraged to enjoy without intimidation.

In addition to life drawing and illustration, Ann is an experienced landscape artist and tutor and was featured on Sky’s Landscape Artist of the Year. She offers group instruction, with clients including Buzzfeed, Liberty, and the University of the Arts London. Privately, she provides technical training for established artists.
