A London Inheritance Walks

A London Inheritance Walks

I HAVE NOW FINISHED WALKS FOR 2025. WALKS WILL RESTART IN SPRING 2026. FOLLOW ME ON EVENTRBITE FOR A NOTIFICATION OF WHEN NEW WALKS ARE POSTED.

A London Inheritance Walks is based on the blog I have been writing since 2014. The blog started as a way of recording the locations of photos taken by my father of London, starting in 1946, but has expanded into a discovery of the history of this wonderful and ever changing city.

I have inherited a fascination with London that started with my father photographing the city, and I have been walking, exploring the streets and taking photos since the 1970s.

My walks will reveal the history of the city, will frequently use my father's photos at the place where they were taken, to show how much (and why) the city has changed, and will explain why the city is as we see today.
