Saleena Bhoyroo
Saleena Bhoyroo is an educational consultant, private teacher and neuroscience-informed practitioner with over 23 years of experience working across schools, leadership teams and families. Her work focuses on understanding why children, staff or systems become stuck — and how to reshape environments so people can succeed within them.
She works with schools, companies and families to move beyond compliance-driven, “box-ticking” approaches. Drawing on psychology, neuroscience and extensive classroom practice, Saleena helps organisations build cultures where staff feel supported, children feel understood and learning can genuinely take place.
Her work includes:
• School improvement and consultancy
• Neurodivergent inclusion strategies
• Staff training and leadership coaching
• Parent consultations for children experiencing learning or communication difficulties
• Organisational culture and staff retention strategies
Saleena believes the most effective environments are built when organisations are willing to question routines, invest in people and hire potential — not just perfection.
Alongside consultancy, she leads early-years provisions supporting maternal mental health programmes and is currently developing a neurodivergent phrase-support thesaurus designed to support children who struggle with expressive communication.
She also runs a creative fashion and manufacturing business, reflecting her belief that life should include exploring different interests, building ideas and learning across multiple fields.
